The Feline Conservation Center (FCC), also known as the Cat House, is located in Rosamond, California. These web pages contain general information about the FCC and photos and sounds of our cats. Cat lovers of all ages who discover this desert zoo north of Los Angeles are surprised and amazed at the variety of wild cat species. Over 60 cats, ranging in size from 7 to 700 pounds, currently live at the compound. There are 14 different cat species represented.

EFBC/FCC is a non-profit 501(c) 3 institution run on public donations, and the majority of the staff are volunteers. We're always looking for more help, if you live in the Southern California area. EFBC/FCC is open to the public every day except Wednesday, and offers guided tours. To visit, follow the directions on the map to EFBC/FCC in Rosamond, CA. There is no charge for the tours, we are run on donations. Memberships and adoptions are our main form of support. Use this form to become a member and help support our efforts! You can mail order some of our gift shop items.

Special events also take place several times a year. The evening Twilight Tours are a great time to visit. The Fabulous Feline Follies is our annual dinner/dance (with auction).
